1. Who We Are and Acceptance
Aster is an internship discovery and hiring workflow platform operated by Asterhire Private Limited, registered at 9/C/10, Archana Apartment, Bagadganj, Nagpur 440008, Maharashtra, India. CIN: U62099ME2026PTC475878. By accessing or using Aster, you agree to these Terms of Service and applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Use of the Website and Services
Aster helps students discover and apply for internships and helps companies publish roles, review candidates, schedule interviews, and manage hiring workflows. Features may change as the platform develops, and access to some features may depend on your account type or plan.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity under your account. Companies and their representatives must have authority to publish roles and make hiring decisions on behalf of the organization they identify.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Aster unlawfully; submit false, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent information; impersonate another person or organization; scrape protected resources; distribute malicious software; interfere with service availability or security; or violate another person's rights.
5. User Content and Hiring Decisions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Asterhire Private Limited a limited license to host, process, display, and share that content as needed to operate the platform, provide matching and hiring workflows, maintain security, and comply with law. Employers remain responsible for their listings, communications, hiring decisions, and compliance with employment laws. Aster does not guarantee an interview, offer, hire, or candidate outcome.
6. Intellectual Property
The Aster platform, branding, software, designs, and original materials are owned by Asterhire Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of that property to you.
7. Third-Party Services
Aster may link to or integrate with third-party services, including identity, calendar, payment, analytics, and communication providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.
8. Availability and Disclaimers
Aster is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We may improve, suspend, or discontinue features and do not guarantee that the platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular hiring or career outcome.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asterhire Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill arising from use of the platform, service interruptions, user conduct, hiring decisions, or third-party services.
10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Aster at any time. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when these terms are violated, when required by law, or when activity creates a material security, abuse, or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, subject to applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms when the platform, our practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
